Using the Listing Approval System

Once your listing approval system is set up, you may need some assistance as you learn to use it for the first time. Here we have provided some tips and tricks to using the Listing Approval System to get you started. Let's go!


Requesting Listing Approval


If you are an agent who has to request approval before your listings can go live, you can do so directly from the listing editor.

  1. Add Listing
  2. Polish your listing until you are ready to request approval for it to go live
  3. Set the Status to "Request Approval"
  4. Click Save

Check Approval Status

Once you have saved your listing, you can check the status of your approval process using the steps provided:

  1. Search for your listing
  2. Click the listing title
  3. Scroll down to "Approval History"

Resend Request for Approval

If your approval is rejected or you have not received any approval or rejection and you'd like to make the request fresh again, follow the steps below to resent your request for approval:

  1. From the left-hand menu click Listings > Approval
  2. Find the listing that has been rejected and click the three-lined action menu
  3. Select "Resend Request"

Approving Listings


If you are a Brokerage Admin who can approve listings, you should receive an email notification when there is a listing pending your approval. If you have not received any such notifications, please review this article on setting up lead notifications in your REALSTACK profile.


To check for listings pending approval

  1. Log in to REALSTACK.com
  2. Go to Listings > Approvals
    1. Here you can see listings you have previously approved as well as those pending approval
  3. Click the three-line action menu next to the listing and select Review
  4. Once you have reviewed the listing, you can either Approve or Reject

Rejecting an Approval

  1. Review the listing
  2. Reject the listing in one of two ways
    1. Change the listing status from "Request Approval" to "Reject Approval"
    2. From the three-lined action menu, select Reject
  3. Add a note explaining why you are rejecting the approval
  4. Click Save

Approving a Listing

  1. Review the listing
  2. Change the Status from "Request Approval" to "Available"
  3. Click Save

Congratulations, you've just approved your first listing!


You can check the approval history to ensure everything went as planned with the following steps:

  1. Select Listings > Approvals from the menu
  2. Find the listing in question and click the three-lined action menu
  3. Click View History
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to "Approval History"
